Walmart Chicken Alfredo

This is our version of the slow cooker chicken Alfredo, We try and stay away from creamy dishes in the slow cooker, simply because there’s always a chance that the cream can split or not thicken enough. Even though this dish looks very oily, it was actually delicious, the sauce needed a good stir, but the chicken was so soft and really tasty.

This is perfect with pasta or you can shred the chicken and put it back into the sauce to create a shredded chicken Alfredo dish

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts

  • 2 Onions

  • 1 Tablespoon Italian/Mixed Herbs

  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Puree

  • 1 Chicken Stock Pot

  • 2 cups Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 Handful of Parsley

  • 12 oz Double Cream

  • 12 oz Cream Cheese (we used Mascarpone Cheese)

Directions

  • Combine Parm Cheese, Garlic Puree, Seasoning, Cream chesse, and cream in a bowl.
  • Turn Crock Pot on Low
  • Dice the onions add to the pot.
  • Add chicken Stock pot and parsely
  • Place chicken on top spread with sauce.
  • Cook for 6 hours
  • Remove Chicken Use a immersion blender to combine fats together in sauce, Place diced chicken back in, Server over Coocked pasta of your choice and enjoy.
